Aluminum cookware is still used in our kitchens today. Many housewives like to cook milk porridge in aluminum pans for the simple reason that they do not burn. This is true, but when eating a delicious porridge, few people know that it is “seasoned” with aluminum. The fact is that milk has an alkaline environment, and under its influence this element of the periodic table gets into food. It is not recommended to cook vegetables in this dish: their acidic environment also affects aluminum, as a result of which metal can end up in your stomach in microscopic doses.

According to scientists, aluminum oxidized in water contributes to the occurrence of a number of serious diseases, in particular Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. People with diseased kidneys are at particular risk.

Experts involved in testing and certification of cookware, including aluminum cookware, advise using it only for boiling water – all other substances at high temperatures provoke an active reaction in aluminum cookware.

In addition, in aluminum dishes you can only make pastries, cereals on water, or simply boil water, which in itself is a neutral substance.
