Double dvuhdverka designed by the Center for Advanced Design in London (SAIC Design Advanced London) under the direction of Karl Gotham. It "borrowed a number of styling cues" from the classic MGB roadster (1962–1980) to show the "sporting aspirations" built into "MG DNA".

Designed by the MG team at the Advanced Design Center in London, the Cyberster is a two-door, two-seater sports car that takes some of the styling cues of the classic MGB roadster while also offering new high-tech features, including an interactive gaming cockpit and 5G connectivity.

Cyberster's intelligent all-electric architecture will provide an approximate range of up to 800 km (500 miles) on a single charge and provide a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration time of less than three seconds, while the bodywork is designed to improve aerodynamic characteristics. The classically shaped MG grille also serves as a duct to provide airflow over the vehicle's chassis.

The "moduleless" CTP battery promises a range of 800 km (NEDC), and the new "eight-layer" engine promises acceleration to hundreds in three seconds.

The autopilot complies with the third level, the connection is 5G standard, the software is updated “over the air”.

Features of the high-tech car Cyberster MG

  • Classic round MG headlights – slim grille and interactive Magic Eye headlights that open when turned on.
  • "Laser belt" (Laser belt) – LED strip along the edge of the car and the contour of the door.
  • A powerful sports car profile – a distinct two-stage shoulder line with a flattened "kamm tail" (kamm tail) at the rear, underlined by unusual "hacker blade" alloy wheels. The taillights are LED-designed and flat-integrated into the rear of the car, creating a digital image that echoes MG's British heritage.

If the interactive Magic Eye lights “open when turned on”, then the graphics of the lights echo the British flag.

The stern is the "tail of Kamm" (Kammback). An LED "laser belt" runs along the perimeter.

  • The Digital Fiber interior design is a driver-centric layout with a separate cab for driver and passenger and a large LED instrument cluster with a second center display. The screen in front of the driver displays all the key vehicle information in a modern yet minimalist style, while the center display provides more interactive features.
  • The MG seats in Zero Gravity feature floating headrests and door panels, and red leather handles that reflect the "laser belt" that runs along the outside of the car.

There are no outside mirrors, so the picture from the side cameras is displayed by a digital tidy.

Before sitting at the W-shaped steering wheel, similar to a gamepad, the driver must place his palm on the fingerprint scanner. The identification of a passenger separated by a partition is similar.

Carl Gotham, director of SAIC Design Advanced London, said:

"Cyberster is a bold statement that seriously looks to the future of MG, touching on our heritage, but more importantly, building on our technology and cutting-edge design."
