American car manufacturer Lincoln peeks into the future by unveiling a concept car at the 2022 Pebble Beach Contest of Elegance (California, USA) Lincoln Model L100 with aerodynamic styling and cutting-edge technology that creates an exciting interior for tomorrow.
Paying tribute to the first luxury car Lincoln 1922 (Model L) concept car draws inspiration from the brand's design heritage, advancing its vision of mobility into the future.
Company Lincoln celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. Formally, it was founded in 1917. However, in 1922 it was acquired by Ford, which to this day owns this brand. This year is considered the "year of birth" Lincoln. Celebrating 100 years Lincoln, company president Joy Falotiko said the following:
“We are at a special moment in our history. Over the past 100 years Lincoln pioneered many innovations and pushed the design boundaries that have come to define our brand as we know and love it today. With the Model L100 Concept, we are reimagining what a shelter might look like. Lincoln for our customers of tomorrow, moving us forward to define the next chapter of history Lincoln".

Lincoln Model L100 embodies a compromise between exuberant elegance and subtle restraint. The flowing design is very aerodynamic and truly eye-catching, while the transformable space allows the concept car to be truly versatile as well. It is these features, as conceived by the creators, that all future Lincoln electric models should receive.
The vehicle uses advanced battery cell technology, which can directly control the energy density and provide an energy-efficient operation system.
The show car opens in a grand manner. Two doors swing open on reverse hinges, although in this case the doors mean literally the entire board, from the front fenders to the rear. The roof also lifts up, making it easier for passengers to get on and off.

The interior of the car is also very unusual. Instead of a traditional steering wheel, there is an original controller, the design of which is inspired by precious stones. However, the steering wheel is not needed here at all, because the car is equipped with an advanced autopilot.
The center console has an interactive screen that includes a chessboard, among other things. However, this is not the only digital element in the cabin. The floor is also digital, and the interior is replete with lighting elements that combine to create a very comfortable atmosphere for passengers.
The front seats are convertible so that the front passengers can sit opposite the rear, creating a more comfortable environment. The interior uses exclusively environmentally friendly materials that can be recycled.
