Citroën unveiled the CXPERIENCE concept luxury sedan at the Paris Motor Show. At first glance, CXPERIENCE attracts attention with its body shape and doors opening in the opposite direction. Bold outlines create a sense of dynamism, while flowing lines emphasize elegant style. The concept looks compact despite its impressive dimensions (length – 4,85 meters, width – 2 meters) and wheelbase (3 meters).
The CXPERIENCE concept car offers a new look at the hatchback car. Cars of this class are an integral part of the history of the brand. The CXPERIENCE has been thought out to the smallest detail, with an aerodynamic, original and distinctive design that is unique to Citroën. The innovative approach is evident in everything from high-tech styling for exterior elements to the highest level of comfort in the car interior.

The Citroën CXPERIENCE CONCEPT is equipped with a plug-in hybride powertrain with a petrol engine and battery recharging. Using a 150–200 hp gasoline engine and an electric motor (up to 80 kW) provide this prototype with exceptional dynamic performance. In city operation, the CXPERIENCE CONCEPT can use the electric motor in Zero Emissions (ZEV) mode with a range of 60 km. When driving on the motorway, the internal combustion engine is used to provide the highest performance of the concept car and achieve a total power of up to 300 hp.
The Citroën CXPERIENCE CONCEPT is equipped with a 13 kWh battery that can be charged in just 4,5 hours with a standard procedure or 2,5 hours with a simplified procedure using a 6,6 kW charger designed for connection to a 32 A socket. Internal combustion engine works in tandem with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Blocks of high-voltage batteries are dispersed under the bottom of the cabin, which ensures optimal weight distribution and does not hide the volume of the luggage compartment.

The front of the CXPERIENCE is characterized by its laconicism and original "two-stage" lighting. The chevrons continue with double chrome elements that extend to the front light blocks, emphasizing the car's width. Particular attention is paid to the V-shaped running lights, which give the concept a futuristic look: they are luminous "stripes" 3 mm wide, in which direction indicators are integrated. There are 3 controllable LED headlights on each side at the bottom.
The front bumpers are equipped with special air intakes with movable panels to improve aerodynamics. In addition, the concave rear window, at the bottom of which a spoiler is installed, contributes to improved aerodynamics. The 3D taillights with laser fiber optics also have a V-shape, echoing the front daytime running lights.

Salon CXPERIENCE CONCEPT is made in an ultra-modern and concise style. High-quality materials are used in the interior design, and the color scheme in bright yellow tones conveys optimism and freshness. The single-spoke steering wheel is a nod to historic Citroën models. The dashboard is made in 3D technique and stretched in a horizontal plane. This solution enhances the feeling of lightness and gives more space.
The upholstery is made of warm yellow fabric. In the decoration of the seat backs and instrument panel, wooden elements are used. A flat floor made of dark leather with a special texture was created specifically for the concept car. Wide chrome treadplates on each side add to the refined styling of the CXPERIENCE Concept.
