This miracle of engineering is located in the center of the ultra-modern city of Dubai, in an artificial lake with an area of ​​over 12 hectares next to the Burj Khalifa skyscraper. This is one of the largest and tallest fountains in the world. Its length is 275 meters, and the height of the jets reaches 150 meters, which is approximately equal to the height of a 50-story building.

The Dubai Fountain can lift up to 83 tons of water per second into the air. Its system uses 6600 spotlights and 25 color spotlights. At the end of 2010, the fountain received two new components – gas nozzles and smoke generators, which allow creating the effect of fire and smoke. The Dubai Fountain can create jets of various shapes in the air. Rays of light from the fountain can be seen within a radius of 32 km.

The operation of the Dubai Fountain is provided by several high-pressure pumps, nozzles and water pressure devices: movable nozzles create an imitation of the dance of water jets, and several water guns of various capacities can raise water jets into the air to a height of up to 128 meters. The most powerful water cannons are used only a few times in the show due to the need to recharge, which takes some time.

The fountain is animated by light sources and musical accompaniment. It can be seen from anywhere in the lake and nearby buildings. You can see the unique show of the “dancing fountain” every 20 minutes from 6 to 10 pm on weekdays and from 6 to 11 pm on weekends. Hear a lot of classical, modern and traditional Arabic melodies.
