Can you quench your thirst with mineral water?

Those who constantly use mineral water to quench their thirst are mistaken and think that it is good for health. This is not entirely true.

Firstly, the human body still needs ordinary drinking water, which, of course, can sometimes be replaced with mineral water. Secondly, mineral water is different. And if we do not talk about the numerous fakes that have appeared recently, then real mineral water is divided into medicinal and dining. Quenching thirst with medicinal mineral water is just as harmful as satisfying hunger with analgin tablets. However, many people do this.

The fact is that in such water the concentration of salts exceeds the norms acceptable for drinking water by 5–7 times, which means that such water can only be useful for people suffering from certain diseases. But in healthy people, the constant use of medicinal mineral water can lead to kidney stones.

So, the main rule: thirst must be quenched with table water, and treated with healing mineral water.

By the way, experts say that the chance of running into a fake when buying mineral water is much less if you buy it in glass bottles.
