Sedentary work

It has long been considered that work in the office, in other words, sedentary work is harmful to the body. But, it turns out, not everything is so sad. In any case, such work turns out to be much healthier than mobile types of labor activity in the fresh air or indoors.

German doctors came to such an unexpected conclusion after examining sick leave issued to compatriots over the past two years. It turned out that janitors and office cleaners get sick for about a month a year, and "office" employees – for about 4 days.

For the purity of the experiment, doctors injected volunteers – representatives of different professions – with the same viruses, organized their long stay in frost and snow, but the difference remained unchanged: "sedentary" patients recovered almost 3 times faster. Maybe because their work is more interesting?
